Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored an absolute beauty in Arsenal‘s friendly against Boreham Wood this afternoon.
It’s Unai Emery’s first game as Gunners manager and it comes in the form of a pre-season encounter with the National League outfit from Hertfordshire.
And the Spanish manager named a strong squad for the game – or as strong as he could name considering some stars are still either at the World Cup or on holiday after playing at it.
Petr Cech, Hector Bellerin, Alexandre Lacazette and Aubameyang are all included in the starting XI, while new signings Sokratis Papastathopoulos and Konstantinos Mavropanos were also given debuts.
But it was Aubameyang who stole the show early on with this beauty of a strike to open the scoring:

Arsenal Fan TV are at the game too and caught some fan footage of the strike as it hit the back of the net too:

How good is that from Aubameyang?
It was already a big enough challenge for Boreham Wood without the Gaboan international coming up with ridiculous goals like this.
