Foderingham has been Rangers’ first-choice shot-stopper since arriving in Glasgow back in 2015 and has largely been recognised as one of the most consistent performers since the Gers returned to the top-flight in 2016.
However, a report in today’s Sun claims the 27-year-old isn’t particularly highly-rated by new boss Steven Gerrard, and could fall as low as third in the pecking order by the time the new Premiership season commences.
Gerrard has already sanctioned the re-signing of Allan McGregor on a free transfer and it looks like he’ll be first-choice to start the campaign, with Jak Alnwick deputising.
And when asked about his situation by supporters on social media this evening, Foderingham had an interesting way of responding:
