Video: The ITV Pundits Went Absolutely Crazy After England’s Shootout Win Over Colombia

ITV’s World Cup pundits abandoned all sense of neutrality during England‘s last-16 clash with Colombia tonight – and went absolutely wild when the Three Lions secured victory in a tense penalty shoot-out.

England met the South Americans in Moscow with a place in the quarter-finals against Sweden at stake, and it looked like Gareth Southgate’s men were home and dry following Harry Kane’s second-half penalty.

However, Barcelona defender Yerry Mina scored his third of the tournament in stoppage time to level things up, and the tie eventually went all the way to spot-kicks.

England eventually triumphed 4-3, with Everton goalie Jordan Pickford the hero, and analysts Gary Neville, Ian Wright and Lee Dixon all refused to hold back in their celebrations:

To be honest, it’s not very often England win a penalty shoot-out, with the last victory coming against Spain in Euro ’96, so we can let them off with their over-the-top antics.

England now play Sweden in the last-8 on Saturday, but how far can they go?
