Xherdan Shaqiri scored his first goal for Liverpool in the early hours of this morning in the friendly win over Manchester United – and the Swiss midfielder came up with an absolute screamer of a finish.
After completing his move from Stoke City earlier this month, Shaqiri has made an impressive start to life as a Reds player during their pre-season tour of America, and none more so than in last night’s match in Michigan.
As Jurgen Klopp’s men walloped Mourinho’s under-strength United 4-1, the highlight of the evening was almost definitely Shaqiri acrobatic strike – which could be in the running for goal of the season before the season has even started:

Given the business done by Jurgen Klopp in the current transfer window, are we about to see a Liverpool side genuinely push for the Premier League title for the first time since 2014 under Brendan Rodgers?
What do you think?
