Dean Windass Describes Rangers Fans as ‘Mongs’ After Son Josh Joins Wigan

Josh Windass has today left Rangers – and it seems his dad Dean is pretty happy to see his son depart the Glasgow club.

The 24-year-old midfielder has endured something of an up-and-down time at Ibrox since joining in 2016, and was involved in several Twitter spats with the club’s supporters, but his move to Wigan Athletic still came as something of a surprise.

The English Championship club have agreed to pay £2.5 million for Windass, with add ons, and the news of his sudden departure sparked a mixed reaction from the Gers supporters.

However, it seems the chances of Josh heading for pastures new with best wishes have been seriously affected by Dean’s Twitter activity, and he might well live to regret his latest comments:

What do you think of Josh’s move down south, and what do you make of his father’s reaction to Rangers fans on social media?
