Josh Windass Sends Thank You Message to Rangers After Making Wigan Debut

Josh Windass has paid tribute to Rangers after making his debut for Wigan Athletic yesterday.

The attacking midfielder was a surprise departure for the Sky Blues last Thursday, on the final day of the English transfer window, with the Latics swooping in a deal thought to be worth around £2.75million.

The 24-year-old endured an up-and-down time during his two-year stay at Ibrox and was regularly involved in Twitter spats with Gers supporters, but Windass seems keen to make it known how much he values his time in Glasgow.

After making his Wigan debut from the bench in yesterday’s 3-2 defeat at Aston Villa, Windass took to his Instagram account this afternoon:

Do you think Rangers will particularly miss Windass this season? And has he done the right thing by deciding to leave the club at this stage in his career?

Moreover, should Steven Gerrard move to replace him before the transfer window for the rest of Europe slams shut at the end of the month?
