Moussa Dembele left Celtic training this afternoon after having a chat with Brendan Rodgers.
The French striker continues to be at the centre of the biggest transfer deadline story of the day as the Hoops fight to keep him at the club.
Lyon have had bids rejected for the player, with Rodgers stating last night that he’s ‘confident’ the former Fulham man will remain in Glasgow beyond the deadline.
But Dembele isn’t happy with that – and has been showing his frustration in the aftermath with a series of tweets.
Surprisingly, he did report for training this morning and actually ran out on to the field with the rest of his team-mates before having a chat with Rodgers 10 or 15 minutes into the session, per STV’s Raman Bhardwaj.
But Bhardwaj is now reporting that Dembele left training after that chat:
Plot thickens. 10-15 minutes or so into training, Dembele and B Rodgers have a chat. Dembele leaves training. https://t.co/dBjA0ejKwZ

That’s another worrying development for Celtic fans as they get set to deal with Dembele being sold or an unhappy player remaining at the club.
And it’s not an ideal time either considering the Hoops face rivals Rangers on Sunday.
