Plenty of Arsenal Fans Reckon It’s Time to Sell Aaron Ramsey and Move On

Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey is reportedly holding the North London club to ransom over his new contract – but plenty of Gooners are less than impressed, and wouldn’t be at all bothered to see him sold.

The Wales international has entered the final year of his contract, and the Evening Standard are reporting the 27-year-old is looking for a Mesut Ozil-style wage hike to remain at the Emirates, with a 200% increase on his current salary asked for by his agents.

Ramsey started the opening Premier League game of the season at home to Man City, but was subbed off early in the second-half after a disappointing display, and was subsequently left on the bench for Saturday’s trip to face Chelsea.

Given new central midfielders Matteo Guendouzi and Lucas Torreira have made a bright start to life as Arsenal players, there’s plenty of supporters who are far from impressed by being held to ransom by Ramsey and his representatives:

On his day, there’s absolutely no question that Ramsey is capable of being a top-class player – but has his time at Arsenal come and gone?

What do you think of the reactions?
