Steven Gerrard has denied Rangers are interested in any Bosnian players amid links with several stars.
The Ibrox club have today been linked with moves for Armin Hodzic, of Dinamo Zagreb, and Elvir Koljic, of FK Krupa.
Rangers have already been busy strengthening Gerrard’s squad this summer, with the signing of Borna Barisic yesterday giving them more depth at left back.
And the prospect of getting more players in must have been exciting for supporters already fancying their chances of having success this season.
But Gerrard has moved today to deny any Rangers interest in Bosnian players.
Speaking at his press conference this afternoon ahead of Rangers’ Europa League third round qualifying first leg clash with Maribor tomorrow night, Gerrard said:

So you can count out Hadzic or Koljic as potential Rangers signings this summer – or is Gerrard saying that to keep his cards close to his chest?
Anyway, Rangers have more important things to concentrate on as they look to beat Maribor tomorrow night and put themselves in a strong position to advance to the Europa League playoff round.
They’ve already beaten Shkupi and Osijek in qualifying and if they beat Maribor then it sets up one more tie to make the group stages – with either Progres Neiderkorn or FC Ufa waiting for them in the next round.
