TalkSPORT‘s Ian Abrahams embarrassed himself with a rant about Brendan Rodgers after Celtic’s Champions League defeat to AEK Athens.
The Hoops bowed out of the competition in the third qualifying round following a 3-2 aggregate loss to the Greek champions.
And they’ll be very disappointed about that considering AEK were far from impressive in both legs.
Now Celtic will have to focus on qualification for the Europa League group stages as well as more success in Scottish football.
But Abrahams believes that will all be a waste of time for former Liverpool manager Rodgers – criticising the ‘SPL’ (it’s the Premiership), saying Celtic have to play against teams like Ross County and Inverness in the league (they don’t) and dismissing Tynecastle as a tough place to go.
You can hear his ridiculous rant below:
This, from @BroadcastMoose, on talkSPORT might just be the most ridiculous, ill-informed and silly take on Scottish football we've ever heard. Goes well beyond controversial opinions to stoke a debate.. pic.twitter.com/BGlu2sa2k7

How embarrassing is that?
Despite Abrahams’ criticism, Scottish football is improving a lot, with a very competitive top-flight having no shortage of entertainment.
Also, Celtic have qualified for the Champions League group stages in the last two seasons despite having to get through more and more tough qualifying games.
So does Scottish football really deserve this sort of stick? We don’t think so.
