A brilliant statistic shows exactly who has been the most influential Liverpool player under Jurgen Klopp.
The Reds are busy celebrating a great 2-1 victory over Tottenham at Wembley this afternoon, with goals from Gini Wijnaldum and Roberto Firmino enough to get them the three points.
That win makes it five from five games to open the English Premier League season and the whole team should take credit for that start.
But one player is getting more credit than the rest after ripping Spurs apart this afternoon and that’s Firmino.
He’s been getting rave reviews from fans on social media and if that performance wasn’t enough to show how important he is to Klopp and Liverpool, this stat should do it:
Roberto Firmino has been directly involved more Premier League goals under Jurgen Klopp than any other Liverpool player.

Firmino really has been superb for Liverpool and deserves all the praise he’s getting for what he brings to the team.
Considering most of the plaudits came the way of Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane last season, it’s about time Firmino got some of his own.
