Diogo Dalot Seriously Impresses During His Manchester United Debut

Manchester United got their Champions League campaign off to a flying start this evening in Switzerland – with Diogo Dalot catching the eye of many United supporters watching from home.

The Portuguese right-back was drafted in to make his first start for the Red Devils against Young Boys of Bern, and the 19-year-old looked like he’d been strolling around in the iconic red jersey for years.

In the first-half, in particular, Dalot showed his comfort on the ball and his ability to whip in a deadly cross, and his mobility and strength in the tackle earned him plaudits too.

In the end, United ran out comfortable 3-0 victors, and the straightforward game probably won’t live long in the memory – but it most certainly will for Diogo Dalot:

Have United unearthed a potential world class gem in Dalot?
