Gareth McAuley has shared a throwback picture to show how far back his love for Rangers goes.
The Northern Irishman was this week paraded as Steven Gerrard’s 15th summer signing, joining the club on a one-year deal following his release from West Brom at the end of last season.
And upon being paraded, McAuley sat down with Rangers TV and told how much the move meant to him and his family.
That’s an easy thing to say when joining a club, but the centre back isn’t lying – as he proved with this throwback tweet earlier:

Several first team players are away on international duty at the moment, including McAuley – so he’ll have to wait until after Northern Ireland’s games with Bosnia and Israel before getting stuck into action with Gerrard’s side.
He could make his debut for Rangers when they return to Premiership action against Dundee on September 15th.
