The legendary former Chelsea captain has been without a club since leaving Aston Villa at the end of last season.
You’d imagine he’s had a number of calls from clubs looking for his services, with Celtic being linked with a move for him as well as former club Villa.
But now Terry appears ready to return to action – and reports today say he’s going to have a medical with Russian side Spartak Moscow.
And if that goes through, it means he’s likely to face Rangers in the Europa League.
That would see him also come up against former England teammate and Premier League rival Steven Gerrard, who is in charge of the Ibrox club at the moment.
Spartak play Rangers for the first time in the Europa League at Ibrox on October 25th before going away to Moscow two weeks later on November 8th.
They currently sit second in the Russian league and will fancy their chances of success in a number of competitions if Terry ends up signing.
