Rossiter was tipped to be a key player under Steven Gerrard this season, but, typically, he suffered more injury problems during the summer after sustaining ankle ligament damage back at the start of July.
Rossiter and Grezda are probably the two players Gers supporters are probably the keenest to see back in the club’s iconic blue jersey, and both managed to come through today’s 6-2 win at unscathed, with Rossiter playing the first 45 minutes.

Grezda showed why Gerrard has forked out a reported £2 million for his signature by scoring a lovely first-half goal, but Mabude’s hat-trick would’ve definitely caught they eye of onlooking fans.
The 17-year-old has been earmarked as a potential Rangers star for some time now, and given Glenn Middleton’s chances in the first-team this season, it mightn’t be too long before we’re seeing Mabude step-up.
Umar Sadiq and Lee Wallace also enjoyed run-outs, but what do you think of Rossiter and Grezda’s chances of breaking into the first-team soon?
