Leigh Griffiths has his sights set on 10 in a row after signing a new Celtic contract.
The Scottish champions this afternoon announced that the Scotland international has been tied up on a new deal until 2022.
And that means he would most likely be at the club if they were able to win 10 Premiership titles in a row.
They have eight at the moment and are favourites to make it nine this season too.
So you can understand that being one of the main motivating reasons behind Griffiths to sign a new long-term contract.
Celtic announced the contract via celticfc.net with quotes from Griffiths sharing his delight at the news.
He said: “I’m here for the 10-in-a-row bid, but my main focus now is trying to get in the team and stay as fit as possible. I’ve hit the 100 [goals] now and I want to try and continue that and aim for greater heights.
“There’s been a lot of high and some lows, but more highs than lows. Hopefully there’s more highs to come.
“The Invincible season and the Double Treble season were some very good highlights and hopefully in the coming years there’s more to come.”
Griffiths hit his 100th goal for Celtic against Suduva in the Europa League at the end of last month and has already set his sights on scoring 200 for the Glasgow club.
He could get his first opportunity to add to his total tonight when Celtic travel to Paisley to take on St Mirren.
