Robbie Savage Takes a Repeated Digs at Chris Sutton and Celtic After Kilmarnock Defeat

Robbie Savage has taken an opportunistic dig at Celtic, and his fellow pundit Chris Sutton, following the Hoops’ underwhelming 2-1 defeat at Kilmarnock this afternoon.

Given he spent five trophy-laden years at Celtic Park at the start of the century, Sutton is indelibly linked with Brendan Rodgers’ side, and often comes in for a bit of stick from his BT Sport colleague whenever his former side slip up.

And today was no different, with Savage repeatedly tweeting Sutton in the wake of today’s result at Rugby Park – and then added to his dig following Rangers’ thumping 5-1 victory over St Johnstone later in the day with a raft of pro-Gers retweets:

Sutton did attempt to hit back at Savage, but he didn’t play the game for too long and soon turned his attention to this afternoon’s games in the English Premier League:

Hypothetical question: who’d win a battle to the death? Sutton or Savage?
