Jamie Walker scored a nice goal on his debut for Peterborough last night.
The former Hearts winger joined the Posh last week after failing to find regular first team games at Wigan.
He wasn’t involved as Steve Evans’ side drew 1-1 with Doncaster at the weekend, but did make his debut last night, climbing off the bench at half-time to help Peterborough produce a stunning comeback.
MK Dons had raced into a 3-0 lead by the break in their Checkatrade Trophy clash last night, but Peterborough fought back to earn a 3-3 draw.
And Walker had a hand in that, scoring a nice goal on his debut:
He was unlucky with the shot that hit the post shortly before and his performance suggests Peterborough have just added another top player in their pursuit of promotion to the Championship.
They currently lead League One alongside Portsmouth and look like they’ll be a big contender with some of the quality they have in their ranks.
