A Growing Number of Spurs Fans Think It’s Time Hugo Lloris Was Dropped

There’s a growing amount of Tottenham supporters who are losing faith in goalkeeper Hugo Lloris and are calling for the French World Cup winner to be sat on the bench.

The 31-year-old shot-stopper has been the North London club’s first-choice between the sticks since joining from Lyon in 2012, and has generally been recognised as developing into a world class goalie during his stint in the Premier League.

But, of late, Lloris has seen his form dip alarmingly for both club and country, evidenced by his howler in the World Cup Final for France in July and his recent red card in the Champions League tie against PSV Eindhoven.

It’s been pretty much all downhill from then on and tonight’s Premier League clash against Manchester City brought several more uncomfortable moments for Lloris, the highlight being a poor goal-kick leading to a golden chance for Sergio Aguero in the second-half.

He’s been a brilliant servant to Spurs, no doubt, but is it the end of the road for Hugo in London?

Would you drop Lloris and since a replacement?
