Celtic Fans Hail Scott Sinclair and Ryan Christie After Seeing Off Hearts

Celtic reached the Betfred Cup final this afternoon after seeing off Hearts at Murrayfield, and the two players receiving all of the praise is Scott Sinclair and Ryan Christie.

Under pressure going into today’s last-four contest at Murrayfield, Brendan Rodgers’s side responded in typical fashion, hitting back when it really counts, by running out as 3-0 victors.

Both Christie and Sinclair started the match on the bench, but the pair undoubtedly had a massive impact on proceedings, with Christie winning a penalty for Sinclair to score on 53 minutes.

And on 66 minutes, Christie’s shot was spilled by Hearts goalie Bobby Zlamal, and looked like it had crossed the line before James Forrest finished it off.

But there was no doubt about the third goal with Christie smashing home an absolute belter of a goal from long-range.

Both players have taken a fair deal of stick, so it’s fitting their taking home some praise today:

How big a player could each man be to the Hoops this season?
