The announcement was met with delight from footie fans, who can’t wait to see the iconic ex-Spurs gaffer take on a Bushtucker Trial.

He’ll be joined by famous faces including The Chase genius Ann Hegerty and Coronation Street star Sair Khan in the celeb camp.

The show will also be co-hosted by Holly Willoughby alongside Declan Donnelly, as she stands in for Ant McPartlin.

Football fans will no doubt be tuning in to see ‘Arry spill some classic anecdotes from his managerial days.

And some have even joked that he’ll link-up with midfielder Niko Kranjcar in the jungle once again.

Benji Neil said: “So ‘Arry Redknapp is going in the jungle….. I bet his personal item to take is Niko Kranjcar.”

Ben Wodecki added: “Harry Redknapp has confirmed he’ll be going on I’m A Celeb Can’t wait for him to try and get Niko Kranjčar to join him.”

Gaffer Redknapp, 71, brought Kranjcar to Portsmouth during their time in the Premier League.

He then re-signed the former Rangers ace after taking the Spurs hotseat.

The pair last worked together during Redknapp’s time in charge at QPR.
