Liverpool Fans Are Refusing to Believe Dejan Lovren is Really Wanted by Barcelona

Dejan Lovren is being linked with a shock move to Barcelona tonight – although Liverpool supporters are refusing to believe the Catalan giants are really after the Croat.

The 29-year-old centre-back has been used sparingly by Jurgen Klopp this season, with Joe Gomez chosen as the first-choice partner for Virgil van Dijk so far this season, despite playing a key role in Croatia reaching the summer’s World Cup Final in Russia.

And his time spent on the sidelines in the Premier League recently has prompted ESPN to link Lovren with a sensational move to the Nou Camp in January, with the La Liga giants experiencing something of a defensive crisis themselves.

However, regardless of how bad it gets in Catalan, there aren’t too many Reds fans who are willing to believe Messi and Lovren will be team-mates in the New Year:

Do you think Lovren could cut it as a Barcelona player?
