Nir Bitton has no sympathy for Kristoffer Ajer and his injury absence.
The Celtic defender has been missing from action since limping out of his side’s 1-0 win away at St Johnstone just under a month ago.
He’s been busy recovering from the hamstring injury he sustained – and is in line to return in a few weeks.
Ajer shared his eagerness to get back with an Instagram post yesterday:
But Bitton had no sympathy for him missing out, responding to that Instagram post with a comment that he’s only been out three weeks – hardly any time compared to the Israeli’s eight-month injury lay-off:
Bitton last played in a 1-0 defeat to Kilmarnock and there’s been no update as to how long it will be before he’s back in action for Brendan Rodgers’ men.
As for Ajer, he may get no sympathy – but that’s because he’s likely to get back to playing over the coming weeks.
