Former Scotland captain Barry Ferguson has launched an x-rated attack on the game’s hierarchy, openly shouting ‘Fuck the SFA!’ during a Rangers Legends event on Friday.
Ferguson was joined on stage by fellow ex-Rangers stars Lee McCulloch and Ian Durrant, and seemed to become visibly annoyed when the discussion turned to the club’s run to the 2008 UEFA Cup Final.
Still furious about the lack of help in re-organising fixtures during their run to Manchester, Ferguson didn’t hold back when offering his opinion, and left nobody in any doubt about how he feels towards Scottish football’s top brass:
Ferguson, of course, has been involved in several high-profile run-ins with the SFA throughout his career, most notably when he was stripped of the Scotland captaincy and banned from representing the national side back in 2009.
