Derek McInnes’ men have found goals hard to come by so far this season, failing to score more than one in any of their opening seven Scottish Premiership games.
They’ve actually only scored more than one once this season, beating St Mirren 4-0 in the Betfred Cup earlier in the campaign.
But the Dons have had no such problem today, smashing three past the Buddies in the first 45 minutes of their league clash at Pittodrie.
Sam Cosgrove got the scoring underway with a diving header, while Max Lowe completed the scoring with a tidy finish in the box.
But it’s all about McLennan’s strike:

Just how good is that?
McLennan is just starting to make a real breakthrough at Pittodrie and goals like that will certainly help him stay in McInnes’ squad.
If Aberdeen manage to win, they could end the day in the top six ahead of Rangers v Hearts and St Johnstone v Celtic tomorrow.
