Hearts manager Craig Levein claims Celtic looked leggy and tired before they were awarded a controversial penalty in today’s Betfred Cup semi-final at Murrayfield.
The Hoops ran out 3-0 winners after a commanding second-half performance, which was sparked by Willie Collum’s decision to point to the spot after a challenge by Oliver Bozanic on Ryan Christie.
Scott Sinclair subsequently scored to set-up the victory, however Levein thinks the penalty was a crucial moment in the tie, and gave Celtic an added burst of Adrenalin exactly when they needed it most:

Celtic will now await the result of today’s second semi-final between Rangers and Aberdeen at Hampden, with the final taking place at the national stadium next month.
But what do you think of Levein’s comments? Is he right to say the penalty was very soft and gave Celtic a timely advantage?
What do you think?
