Gary Caldwell loved telling this story about Gordon Strachan shutting up Kenny Miller.
The new Partick Thistle manager sat down with Si Ferry for an Open Goal interview recently, talking about his career as a player and now as a gaffer.
That full interview will be released on Monday, but Open Goal have put out a snippet from the chat – and it includes Caldwell’s funny story about Strachan stopping Miller from answering back one time.
You’d assume this is from their time together at Celtic:

But it may actually have been from Scotland duty, as Gary Caldwell ended his international career in the same year Strachan became Tartan Army boss – while Miller was still a national team player then.
You’ll be able to see the whole Caldwell interview with Ferry and Open Goal at 5pm on Monday.
In the meantime, you can check out their back catalogue of entertaining interviews with a number of high profile names in Scottish football via their YouTube page.
