Harry Redknapp has slaughtered Gary Neville after his criticism of Tottenham on Monday night.
Alongside Jamie Carragher, the Sky Sports Monday Night Football pundit laid into Spurs for their performances over recent years.
It all came out following their 1-0 defeat to Manchester City at Wembley and Mauricio Pochettino creating fresh speculation over his future after describing it as his ‘worst feeling’ since arriving at the club.
Neville spoke about how Spurs have been ‘spineless’ and ‘soft’ in the past and how teams always knew they could beat them – even if they did fall behind in games.
But Redknapp doesn’t agree with that and has hit back at Neville for his comments.
Speaking on talkSPORT this morning:
😡 'Gary Neville’s comments are a DISGRACE'
🇪🇸 'He managed Valencia and when he did they were the worst Valencia team in their history'
— The Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast (@SportsBreakfast) October 31, 2018
Redknapp was the Spurs manager for four years between 2008 and 2012, helping them become a contender at the top of the league and a regular Champions League participant.
So you can understand why he takes exception to Neville’s comments about Tottenham having been ‘spineless’ and ‘soft’ over the years.
We’ll keep an eye out for Neville’s inevitable response this afternoon.
