Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville had a big debate over the state of Tottenham following their 1-0 defeat to Manchester City.

The Sky Sports Monday Night Football pundits were their usual opinionated selves after watching the game at Wembley between two of the Premier League’s contenders.

City came out on top thanks to Riyad Mahrez’s goal, pushing them back to the top of the league table – and keep Tottenham out of the top four.

Mauricio Pochettino spoke publicly following the game about it currently being the ‘worst feeling’ he’s had in his time in north London.

And the sacking of Julen Lopetegui at Real Madrid will lead to more speculation about the Spurs manager’s future.

For Neville and Carragher, something isn’t right at Tottenham and it may lead to Pochettino leaving the club in the near future:

Lopetegui was sacked after Madrid lost 5-1 to rivals Barcelona at the weekend and now the European champions will set about finding a replacement who can immediately turn around their fortunes.

But is Pochettino that man?
