Video: Legendary MMA Coach Duke Roufus Wears Celtic Third Kit While Training UFC Star

The last thing we expected to see in UFC 229’s Embedded vlog series was Celtic’s third kit.

But the Hoops got some representation in the first episode of the YouTube series ahead of this weekend’s big fights in Las Vegas courtesy of legendary MMA coach Duke Roufus.

All the attention is on Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor as they fight for the lightweight title.

And Embedded provides fans the opportunity to go behind the scenes as the fighters prepare for Saturday night’s main event.

Khabib and McGregor both appeared on the episode, but so did Tony Ferguson and Anthony Pettis, who fight before the main event.

It’s Pettis who Roufus is coaching going into the fight – and the first episode showed him getting into specifics with the American fighter while wearing Celtic’s bright third kit:

That’s a bizarre choice of top to wear during training, but one Celtic fans will love.

And it’s sure to see some of their supporters cheer on Pettis before watching McGregor – who has plenty of Hoops fans – in action.
