Video: Paul Gascoigne Trolls the SFA With Goal Against Scotland from Euro 1996

Paul Gascoigne has finally broken his silence after his Scottish Football Hall of Fame nomination was controversially withdrawn this week.

It’s understood that several members from the Scottish Football Association threatened to boycott Gazza’s celebratory bash, amid “concerns” over the former Rangers star’s health.

However, while both Ally McCoist and Vinnie Jones were quick to vent their anger at the decision, it seems Gazza hasn’t take the SFA’s U-turn to heart.

Instead, the 51-year-old has teased the organisation on Twitter, with a clip of his famous strike for England against Scotland at Euro 1996.

Gascoigne, who quickly became a Rangers legend during his three years at Ibrox in the 1990’s, posted a message claiming he didn’t need the recognition of the SFA.

He then added a picture of the Rangers Hall of Fame, which he is already a proud member of:

The debate surrounding whether Gazza should have been snubbed by the SFA will undoubtedly rumble on over the next few days.

Although it’s great to see that one of the game’s biggest characters isn’t letting it get him down!
