Manchester United legend Paul Scholes has accused the club’s manager Jose Mourinho of embarrassing the club with his current behaviour, and admitted he was surprised the Portuguese coach hasn’t been sacked yet.
Mourinho is under severe pressure following Saturday’s 3-1 defeat at West Ham, with the result condemning the Red Devils to their worst start to a domestic campaign since 1989.
Moreover, the former Real Madrid and Chelsea manager has been involved in several public spats of late, most notably with his most expensive player, Paul Pogba.
When asked about the current goings on at Old Trafford, Scholes refused to pull any punches, and gave a pretty frank assessment when talking as a pundit for BT Sport this evening:
"I'm surprised that he survived after Saturday"
"I think he's embarrassing the club."

United are playing a struggling Newcastle United side at the weekend, who are yet to win this season, and surely a defeat in that match would seal Mourinho’s fate, no?
What do you think of Scholes’s comments?
