Chelsea fans have got the news they weren’t hoping for when it comes to Eden Hazard’s fitness.
Maurizio Sarri sat down with the press this afternoon to preview his side’s English Premier League clash with Crystal Palace tomorrow.
And top of the agenda was the fitness of star man Hazard, who hasn’t played for them since the 2-2 draw with Manchester United on October 20th.
Since then, he’s missed a league clash with Burnley as well as a Champions League fixture with Bate Borisov and a Carabao Cup tie with Derby.
Hazard is back in training with Chelsea, which is a positive for the Blues. But it looks unlikely that he’ll be involved much against Palace this weekend.
And that’s not good news for supporters, who want to see their team continue the strong start to life under Sarri:
Maurizio Sarri reports he does not know yet whether Eden Hazard is fit to play for 90 minutes. He trained for a large part of the session yesterday. He can probably play for 40 to 45 minutes. #CHECRY

While Palace may be too soon for Hazard, you’d expect him to be fit and firing for the next Champions League game against Bate Borisov and then the following Premier League clash with Everton.
