Celtic fans finally have some positive injury news, courtesy of Leigh Griffiths.

The Hoops have been hit with some bad injury luck recently, with several star players picking up knocks to rule them out of action.

The likes of Kristoffer Ajer, Jozo Simunovic, Scott Brown and Filip Benkovic have all suffered injuries recently, with a mixture of those players and some others continuing to miss out for Brendan Rodgers’ team.

But one man who looks like he’s close to a return is Griffiths, with the Scottish striker having missed recent action through illness and then injury.

He’s not played for Celtic since the 6-0 hammering of St Johnstone at the start of last month.

Now, though, it looks like’s set to return to action – with the man himself giving fans some good injury news for once this morning via his Instagram Story:

So the boots are back on for Griffiths – and that is some welcome news for fans who want to see Celtic continue smashing the goals in after some recent strong form.

He’ll provide some much-needed competition for Odsonne Edouard too, with the Frenchman looking in need of it during the start of the season.
