Liverpool Legend Ian Rush Congratulates Andy Robertson on Scotland Performance

Andy Robertson put in a sensational performance last night as Scotland kept their Nations League qualification hopes alive with a 4-0 win over Albania.

The Liverpool ace returned to his national left-back position as Alex McLeish reverted back to a 4-4-2 formation for last night’s tie in Shkoder.

Robbo took to Instagram this afternoon to praise the Scotland supporters as he wrote: “Great performance last night by the lads! Tartan Army were brilliant throughout. All focus on Tuesday now.”

And he was congratuled by Anfield hero Ian Rush who replied with the applause emoji.

Ryan Fraser kicked off proceedings with his first international goal before Steven Fletcher netted from the spot before the break.

Celtic star James Forrest then netted his first Scotland goals as he bagged a second-half brace to seal all three points.

Victory over Israel would now seal Scotland’s promotion to League B and guarantee a play-off spot for Euro 2020.
