Oliver Giroud has revealed he’s set to take a foray into the world of acting by voicing the Green Goblin in a forthcoming animated Spider-Man movie.
The Chelsea striker is 32-years-old now, and out-of-contract at the end of the current season, and it seems the former Arsenal man is keen to keep his options open in regards to a new career.
And the World Cup winner has shocked his fans by revealing his next move, which involves facing off against Peter Parker and his arachnid alter-ego in ‘Spider-Man: New Generation’:
Je suis très heureux de vous annoncer que je prêterai ma voix au Green goblin dans le film #SpiderManNewGeneration, le 12 décembre au cinéma !@SonyPicturesFr pic.twitter.com/5uG374Tfij

The World Cup winner has been largely used as a back-up by new Blues boss Maurizio Sarri this season, although he did score his first club goal since May in last week’s win over BATE Borisov.
But what do you think of the news? Could we soon see Giroud on the big screen more often?
