Rangers Submit Official Complaint to the SFA About Referee Willie Collum

Rangers have made an official complaint to the footballing authorities regarding referee Willie Collum in the wake of last weekend’s Premiership win over St Mirren.

Steven Gerrard’s men ran out 2-0 victors after late goals from Daniel Candeias and Alfredo Morelos but the win was soured somewhat when Candeias was inexplicably shown a red card by Collum in the closing stages.

Watching replays, it was nigh on impossible to fathom what Collum’s thinking was at the time, but the Ibrox club still saw their appeal fall on deaf ears – and they’re definitely not happy about it.

The Rangers hierarchy raised their objections via their official website earlier today, citing an ‘underlying issue’ that needs to be resolved with Collum’s officiating.

What do you think of the Rangers complaints? Are they right to single out Collum for some of his recent decisions, particularly the Candeias sending off?
