Ryan Christie Earns More Rave Reviews After Scotland Performance

Ryan Christie earned rave reviews tonight after his performance in Scotland‘s victory over Albania.

The Celtic midfielder was handed a start by Alex McLeish for the trip to Shkoder in the Nations League.

And he repaid his manager with a superb display in the 4-0 victory, producing two assists and loads more quality in midfield throughout a one-sided affair.

Christie has arguably been Celtic’s best player of late so it was no surprise when the starting XI was confirmed and he was in it.

But did anyone expect him to play so well?

The playmaker was involved in everything good for Scotland and was man of the match for many watching on:

You get the point.

Christie will now be expecting to start for Scotland again when they take on Israel in their next Nations League game on Tuesday night.

If Scotland win that then they’ll go through to the semi-finals of the Nations League – a big boost for McLeish, the squad and the country.
