Santi Cazorla Sends Classy Get Well Message to Danny Welbeck

Santi Cazorla sent a classy get well message to Danny Welbeck almost immediately after getting off the pitch for Villarreal.

The Spanish playmaker was in action for his side last night, drawing 0-0 away at Rapid Wien in the early round of Europa League matches.

Not long after the full-time whistle went in Austria, Welbeck was being carted off at the Emirates after suffering what looked like a serious injury early on in Arsenal’s clash with Sporting Lisbon.

As a former Gunner and teammate of Welbeck, Cazorla was quick to share a message for the English striker.

And it’s a classy post that came immediately after he got off the pitch for Villarreal:

Cazorla knows what it’s like to be injured for a long time at Arsenal so he can sympathise with Welbeck.

But the Englishman knows exactly what that’s like too as he’s suffered several serious injuries in his career already.

News should come today of the full extent of Welbeck’s injury and how much time he’s expected to spend on the sidelines recovering.
