Scotland Fans Don’t Seem Bothered About Matt Ritchie’s Decision

Scotland fans don’t seem to be too bothered about Matt Ritchie’s decision to be left out of the latest national team squad.

The Tartan Army will go up against Israel and Albania in the Nations League later this month.

So Alex McLeish named his squad for the upcoming games yesterday, with some notable inclusions and exclusions.

While more focus was put on the recall of Steven Fletcher, there were some big players ruled out of the squad – including Robert Snodgrass, Leigh Griffiths and Ritchie.

While the former two are injured, the latter one asked to be left out of the squad due to personal reasons. And many believe he simply just doesn’t want to be involved.

But many Scotland fans don’t seem to be too bothered about his exclusion:

You get the point.

Ritchie has earned 16 caps for Scotland since being handed his debut by Gordon Strachan in 2015, but it now looks doubtful that he’ll add many more to that tally.
