Tottenham Fans Are Lavishing Praise on Moussa Sissoko…No, Seriously

Tottenham kept their Champions League hopes alive tonight by beating Inter Milan at Wembley and the club’s supporters are raving about midfielder Moussa Sissoko.

So often the whipping boy, the much-maligned Sissoko delivered in spades this evening with a barn-storming display against the Italian giants, and he even played a crucial part in the game’s only goal.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side won courtesy of a late Chrsitian Eriksen goal, and were put through the wringer by Inter’s sturdy and stingy deep defending.

However, when Sissoko runs at defenders at full-speed, he’s pretty hard to stop:

He’s taken more than his fair share of criticism from Spurs fans since his £30 million move from Newcastle in 2016, but Sissoko is finally seeing some appreciation on social media tonight:

Could Sissoko become a genuinely big player for Tottenham from now on? Could this be a turning point in his career?
