The Scotland captain has developed into a fan favourite amongst Reds supporters since his £8 million move from Hull City in the summer of 2017 and it unquestionably one of the first names on Jurgen Klopp’s team-sheets.
However, Robertson was forced to endure a pretty rough start at the club’s Melwood training centre, as the German’s famous coaching methods for obtaining his high-octane style of play were put into practice.
Speaking in an interview with Simon Ferry and Open Goal Sport, Robertson revealed how difficult his initial training sessions with the club were:

Jurgen Klopp’s style of play might be exciting to watch but it certainly takes the body more than a little while to get used to it.
