Video: Arsene Wenger Describes AC Milan Rumours as ‘Fake News’

Ex-Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has emphatically denied he’s about to take over at AC Milan, branding the rumours nothing more than ‘fake news’.

The Frenchman is looking for a job for the first time since 1996 after leaving the Gunners in the summer, and he’s expected to continue in the winter of his managerial career on the continent in the near future.

And it looked like he’d be doing so at the San Siro, after reports surfaced suggesting Wenger was about to replace Rino Gattuso as the Rosseneri’s coach, but it sounds like it’s nothing more than idle chit-chat.

Appearing as a pundit on beIN Sports for tonight’s Champions League matches, Wenger was asked directly if he was about to become AC Milan boss – and his answer couldn’t have been less ambiguous:

So, for the time being at least, Gattuso will remain in his role at the San Siro, but where do you think Wenger will end?
