Video: Barrie McKay’s Winner For Swansea City Yesterday Was an Absolute Rocket

Former Rangers winger Barrie McKay continued to grow his budding reputation in English football this weekend, by scoring an absolute screamer of a winning goal.

The 23-year-old Scotland cap is winning plaudits and fans south of the border for some of his performances for Swansea City this season, as we’ve told you previously.

McKay left Ibrox after a falling-out with previous coach Pedro Caixinha, initially signing for Nottingham Forest, before settling at the Liberty Stadium, where he looks like he’s beginning to play his best football.

Just ask the Bolton Wanderers defence:

Caixinha seemed pretty content to let McKay leave the Gers for a cut-price deal worth around £500,000, but judging by his development, you’d imagine there’s plenty of supporters who’d be keen to see him back in that iconic blue jersey now, right?

What do you think of the goal, and should McKay be in the running for a Scotland call-up soon?
