Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers described his side’s display against Hearts this afternoon as ‘sensational’, before singling out Callum McGregor for some pretty high praise indeed.
The Hoops swept away their Edinburgh rivals for the second time in less than a week, with today’s 5-0 result sending a swift reminder of the power and depth in the Celtic ranks.
Odsonne Edouard scored twice, with Filip Benkovic, James Forrest and Ryan Christie all getting in on the act as Rodgers’ side hit fifth gear in-front of a jubilant home support.
After the full-time whistle, the Bhoys manager saw no reason to temper his delight, and he seemed absolutely delighted with how his players managed the task:

And whilst McGregor didn’t get on the score-sheet, the Scotland international was given a special nod for filling in for missing skipper Scott Brown:

After a sticky start to the campaign, are we finally seeing the ‘real’ Celtic? What do you think?
