Video: Cristiano Ronaldo Pulls Off Brilliant Bit of Skill to Set Up Juventus Goal

Cristiano Ronaldo continued his red-hot form tonight for Juventus in the Champions League, pulling off an audacious slice of skill to set-up his side’s opening goal.

The Serie A champions needed to win tonight against Valencia in Turin to secure progression to the competition’s knockout phase, and a nervy first-half suggested it would be a long night for tense supporters inside the J Stadium.

However, Croatian striker Mario Mandzukic broke the deadlock just before the hour mark, but he had his Portuguese colleague to thank for brilliantly putting the ball on a plate for him:

Ronaldo broke a Juventus club record with his goal against SPAL at the weekend by reachingĀ 10 goals faster than any other player, beatingĀ Pietro Anastasi’s record of 14 games back in 1968.

But he also knows how to be a team player too, and that’s his seventh assist of the current campaign.

Is he still one of the world’s best two or three players?
