Rangers midfielder Daniel Candeias continued his impressive run of form in the Europa League this evening, scoring an absolutely brilliant strike against Spartak Moscow.
The Portuguese winger went into tonight’s tie having scored the crucial opening goal against St Mirren at the weekend, taking his tally for the season to three goals, but he was determined to go one better tonight.
In a rollercoaster of a match against the Russians, Candeias provided the undeniable highlight of the first-half by reacting quickly to break down the Spartak offside trap, before collecting an excellent pass from Jon Flanagan.
From there, the 30-year-old applied his own touch of magic before stroking the ball into the net:
Touch 🙌
Turn 👌
Finish 👏Daniel Candeias, that is special! pic.twitter.com/Knyarvyh9a

We might only be in November, but surely we already have a contender for the Rangers goal of the season?
What do you think of the strike, and Flanagan’s through-ball?
