James Forrest continued his white-hot form this evening as he turned provider for his Celtic team-mate Scott Sinclair in Norway.
Forrest and his Hoops colleagues travelled to Trondheim tonight knowing they realistically needed to claim all three points from their clash with Rosenborg – a venue they failed to win in earlier this season.
But they looked in the mood from the get-go, with Forrest, Tom Rogic and Odsonne Edouard all testing the Norwegian side’s goalie, but to no avail.
However, the deadlock was broken just before half-time, when Forrest brilliant raced to the byline past the helpless left-back Meling, before coolly dinking the ball onto the head of Sinclair, who simply couldn’t miss from close-range:
"James Forrest at his absolute best!" 👏

A win tonight and a win on match-day six would leave Celtic on 12 points, and surely put them in a brilliant position to qualify for the competition’s knockout phases.
What do you think of the goal, and Forrest’s amazing form of late?
