Josh Windass has revealed how Pedro Caixinha ruined Joe Garner’s ‘£30,000’ stag do.

The former Rangers midfielder sat down with Si Ferry for an Open Goal interview recently and it looks like it’s going to be a very interesting watch based on the preview clips released today.

The best is Windass speaking about Caixinha and how he ruined Garner’s stag at the start of his first full season at the club.

As was reported at the time, the Mexican had his squad back very early for pre-season last term – and that reportedly caused problems for captain Lee Wallace as well as Garner.

Now Windass has revealed exactly what problems it caused for the former Rangers striker:

As Windass alludes to, it’s no surprise that Garner was soon moved on by Caixinha.

He didn’t make a single appearance for the Mexican manager last season before being moved on to Ipswich in a summer move.

Caixinha didn’t last much longer either though – being sacked in October of last year.

You can watch the full Windass interview on Monday via Open Goal’s YouTube channel.
