Video: Kieran Tierney Hammers Celtic Ahead Against RB Leipzig

Celtic‘s Kieran Tierney scored his first goal of the season tonight in pretty spectacular fashion against Bundesliga cracks RB Leipzig under the Parkhead floodlights.

Having lost the return tie in Germany 2-0, Brendan Rodgers’ side knew they needed to collect all three points this evening to retain any sort of realistic chance of making the competition’s knockout stages after Christmas.

And whilst the 21-year-old left-back is a hero to the Hoops supporters, he isn’t really the player you’d expect to see getting on the scoresheet, but his lung-bursting run from his own half was matched by an excellent cross from James Forrest, and from there, he simply couldn’t miss:

Not a bad finish at all, eh? Just imagine how brilliant a player Tierney could become if he starts becoming a regular scorer.

Do you think Celtic will make it out of the group stages, and how far can they expect to go in the tournament?
